Lesson 2: Counting Groups to 10

 

Aims:

  • Develop counting skills for groups up to 10.
  • Practice counting objects in different arrangements.

Goals:

  • Children count groups of up to 10 objects, shapes, or pictures.
  • Children use ten frames and count scattered groups accurately.

Objectives:

  • Accurately count and show up to 10 items.
  • Use ten frames, fingers, or manipulatives to represent quantities up to 10.
