Lesson 1: Learning Numbers 1–3

 

Aims:

  • Introduce numbers 1, 2, and 3.
  • Build recognition of numerals and number names.

Goals:

  • Children identify numerals 1–3.
  • Children match number names with written numerals.

  • Point to and name numerals 1, 2, and 3 in the classroom or in books.
  • Match spoken number names to the correct numeral.
