- Bible
- Journal or notebook
- Art supplies (optional)

Lesson Outline
- Opening (5–10 minutes)
- Welcome & Prayer
- Icebreaker: “What’s your favorite thing in nature and why?”
- Differentiation/Accessibility: Allow students to write, draw, or speak their responses. Use audio for Scripture reading if needed.
- Scripture Reading (10–15 minutes)
- Read Genesis 1:1–2:3 (out loud, silently, or using an audio Bible)
- Mark words or verses that stand out
- Observation & Understanding (10–15 minutes)
- What happens in the passage? Who is involved?
- List key words or repeated phrases
- Prompts: What surprises you? What questions do you have?
- Interpretation & Discussion (15–20 minutes)
- What does this passage mean?
