Each night, Aiden\u2019s parents sing a bedtime song, and he soon starts to coo along and wave his arms, knowing it\u2019s time to settle down.  This comforting routine connects music, memory, and family togetherness.  This supports language arts development because music and stories introduce rhythm, repetition, and the joy of language\u2014all key ingredients for later reading and communication skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

      • Create a \u201cfamily band\u201d with safe household items and play together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Favorite lullabies, baby-safe instruments or household items (pots, wooden spoons), simple board books<\/p>\n
