Key Areas of Development—What You’ll Support
Spiritual Foundations
- Helpers in Action: Children thrive on helping and making a positive difference. Examples from Scripture include Miriam (Exodus 2), Joash (2 Chronicles 34:1), and Josiah (2 Chronicles 34:1).
- Your Role: Our resources encourage service, faith, responsibility, and a growing relationship with God.
Academic and Life Skills
- Cognitive & Academic:
- Read simple sentences and sound out words
- Write their name and new vocabulary
- Understand grammar rules and word meanings (including jokes and puns)
- Basic math: Addition/subtraction within 20, counting by 2s and 5s, basic time and money, begin multiplication/division
- Follow multi-step directions, grasp cause and effect, focus for longer periods
- Social & Emotional:
- Cooperate, share, and take turns
- Choose and engage with friends, both leading and following
- Express feelings and thoughts effectively
- Begin to understand others’ perspectives
- Take on “big kid” responsibilities and care for belongings
- Develop self-confidence and a positive, realistic self-concept
- Physical:
- Run, skip, jump, balance, catch a ball
- Use safety scissors, write legibly
- Complete daily routines and hygiene, follow safety rules

You’ll have access to more than 100 course resources, making this membership the most valuable and cost-effective for this age group. Resources are based on established learning standards, with advanced options to help you know when your child is ready to level up. As a yearly member, you’ll always receive the latest updates. Need something specific? Submit a request and we’ll design a resource or provide a solution.
