Integrity means consistently doing what is right, even when it costs you. \u00a0While profit is necessary for business sustainability, the pursuit of profit can sometimes tempt us to compromise our values for short-term gain. \u00a0In leadership, these two priorities often feel at odds, and added pressure to succeed can cause leaders to question their principles. \u00a0The business world regularly tempts us to trade values for results\u2014but integrity must always win. \u00a0As C.S. Lewis said, \u201cIntegrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.\u201d The Bible reminds us, \u201cBetter is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways.\u201d (Proverbs 28:6, ESV)<\/p>\n
