As leaders, how often do we face attempts from others to limit our vision?\u00a0 Today, while reading my devotional on John 11:38-44\u2014the well-known story of Lazarus being raised from the dead\u2014I was particularly struck by the final line: \u201cLoose him, and let him go\u201d (John 11:44, KJV).\u00a0 These words resonate deeply with me because they serve as a call to release the potential of our vision from the constraints imposed by others.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

We recognize that if we remain bound to other people\u2019s words, thoughts, or disbeliefs, our vision cannot come to full fruition.\u00a0 The only things that are bound and laid to rest are those destined for the grave.\u00a0 Therefore, if you do not want your vision to be marked for death, you must resist the forces that seek to keep you bound and buried.\u00a0 Whether we convey this sentiment verbally or through our actions, it is our responsibility to do so because we\u2019re the ones who carry the vision.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

So, how do you do that?\u00a0 It takes courage and strength to stand firm and boldly declare, \u201cLoose me, and let me go.\u201d Having support from others willing to stand by you, such as through mentorship and networking with like-minded individuals, is helpful, giving us additional strength to push forward.\u00a0 However, there are times when you may need to step out on your own because others cannot see the potential in what you are pursuing.\u00a0 Only after you breathe life into your vision will you find people who embrace and support you as you move forward.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you have received a vision from God, a life-giving entity, pursue it with purpose.\u00a0 As you take action, you not only give shape to what desires to pour out of you, but you also inspire those who observe it coming to life, reshaping their minds and attitudes.\u00a0 This demonstration of your inner greatness showcases the impact your vision can achieve.\u00a0 Sometimes you\u2019ll learn that it\u2019s not just about the vision itself, but how it changes the world around you.\u00a0 Thus, as you answer the call, declaring both in words and actions, \u201cLoose me, and let me go,\u201d\u00a0 you will accomplish the important work God has for you to do, and\u00a0 I am eager to see you achieve it.<\/p>\n
